The University of Chi city (U of C, UC, UChicago, or simply Chicago) is a private analysis university in Chi city, Il, U. s. States. The University contains the Higher education of the University of Chi city, various graduate college student student applications and interdisciplinary committees arranged into four divisions, six professional schools, and an excellent of training. The University enrolls roughly 5,000 students in the Higher education and about 15,000 students overall.

It was recognized by the United states Baptist Information Community with a participation from oil magnate and philanthropist Bob D. Rockefeller and incorporated in 1890. Invoice Rainey Harper became the university's first us president, in 1891, and the first sessions were organised in 1892.
