The School of Phoenix (also termed as UA (spoken as U of A), or Arizona) is a land-grant and space-grant public company of college and analysis located in Tucson, Phoenix, United States. The School of Phoenix was the first university in the condition of Phoenix, established in 1885 (twenty-seven years before the Phoenix Area obtained statehood). The university contains the School of Phoenix College of Medication which is one of three healthcare educational organizations and the only MD allowing med school in Phoenix. As of Fall 2010, total registration was 39,086 learners. The School of Phoenix is controlled by the Phoenix Board of Regents. Known as the Phoenix Wildcats (often reduced to "'Cats"), the fitness groups are associates of the Pacific-12 Meeting in the NCAA. UA sportsmen have won national headings in several sports, such as gents golf ball, football, and football. The formal shades of the university and its fitness groups are Primary Red and Navy blue Blue.
